We are a web of connections for other Student Affairs and Higher Ed Geeks, whose great responsibility is to foster students’ sense of belonging on their campuses. We are a league of residential life professionals, the crisis and care professionals, the deans of students, and everything in between.
Our superpower is integrating mass media and pop culture into educational programming and training curricula, leading to improvements in community empowerment, social justice, career development, and wellness.
Our Expertise

Over the last decade, the rise of fandom and parasocial relationships has shown that embracing mass media and geeky interests helps us discover our identities, cope with stress, and foster community.
For nearly 20 years, we have dedicated ourselves to building geek-themed engagement on our college campuses. Our ongoing efforts have consistently enhanced students’ sense of belonging, a strong connection to self, and community empowerment.
